Checkfield · Privacy & Support
Checkfield collects nothing.
Every inspection, photo, note and signature stays in local storage on your phone. There's no account and no upload — Checkfield works exactly the same with zero signal as it does with full bars.
Privacy policy
What's on your device
Inspections, checklist answers, notes, photos, signatures and the PDF reports Checkfield generates live in the app's local database and file storage. None of it leaves your phone unless you choose to share a report — and from there it's subject to whatever you send it through (Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Files), not to Checkfield.
Camera
The only permission Checkfield asks for. It's used when you tap the camera button on a checklist item, to attach a photo as evidence for that item. The photo is resized and saved to local storage — it is never uploaded.
Third parties
None. Checkfield includes no analytics SDK, no advertising network and no crash-reporting service — it makes no network requests at all.
Account
There isn't one. Checkfield doesn't ask for a name, an email address, or a login to work.
Children
Checkfield is a professional inspection tool, not directed at children, and collects no personal information from anyone regardless of age.
Changes to this policy
If this changes, the date above changes with it, and the new version replaces this one at the same address.

Support
Most questions are answered below.
Where is my inspection data stored?
On your device only, in Checkfield's local storage. There's no account and no cloud sync, so reinstalling the app or switching phones won't carry inspections over unless you've already shared the PDF reports.
How do I share a completed report?
Open the finished inspection and tap Share report. Checkfield builds a PDF on-device and hands it to iOS's share sheet — Mail, AirDrop, Messages, or save to Files.
Can I recover a deleted inspection?
Not from inside the app — deletions are local and permanent, with no server copy to restore from. A report you've already shared survives independently wherever you sent it.
Does Checkfield work offline?
Yes, entirely, including PDF generation. That's the point.
